Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit: Week 17 Recap - Part 1 Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit: July 15-17 Episode Divina (Pilar Pilapil) unleashes her wrath on Katrina (Cristine Reyes) after she discovered that Michael (RK Bagatsing) is Amber’s biological father. Things take a turn for the worse when Divina gets into an altercation with her daughter-in-law. This then compels Katrina to make a big decision. Meanwhile, Mikmik (Sophia Reola) remains adamant to earn Amber’s (Krystal Mejes) acceptance. Elsewhere, Ruth (Matet de Leon) doubts Michael and Amber’s DNA test result. Unable to tolerate Divina's (Pilar Pilapil) abuse any longer, Katrina (Cristine Reyes) takes Amber (Krystal Mejes) and Britney (Heart Ramos) and runs away from the Salvador mansion. Katrina later receives a visit from David (Dante Rivero), who suspects that she manipulated the DNA test results to get Michael (RK Bagatsing). Meanwhile, Divina's world crumbles as her beloved granddaughters are taken away from her. However, an unexpected ally shows up on her doorstep. Unknown to both David and Divina, Katrina still has an ace up her sleeve. Divina (Pilar Pilapil) and Ruth (Matet de Leon) continue to question Katrina's (Cristine Reyes) revelation about Amber (Krystal Mejes). In hopes of quenching their doubts, the two form an unexpected alliance to find out if Michael (RK Bagatsing) is really the father of Amber. Meanwhile, David (Dante Rivero) realizes that Katrina will be useful to him in his plot to take down Divina. David then tries to force James (Enzo Pineda) into hiring her. Elsewhere, Mikmik (Sophia Reola) tries her best to endear herself to Amber.
